Training dates set for GAL/CASA but…

you need to submit an application before the training starts.  A great thing to do on Winter Break

Here is the link to the online application and other forms:https://www.rccasa.org/menus/become-a-volunteer.html

Don’t forget to submit a Volunteer Enrollment Form. This lets the Pro Bono Program know who is involved in making a difference in the lives of children https://uofsclawprobono.azurewebsites.net/forms/volunteer-enrollment-form/

The best part of Thanksgiving Dinner is…

the leftovers! On Monday, Nov 25th volunteers prepared and served a full Thanksgiving Dinner ( yes there was cranberry sauce from the can!) to the resident families at the Family Shelter and St. Lawrence Place. Many have family members who are working late night shifts and knowing that today they could heat up a plate of turkey and all the trimmings was a bright spot in their lives. We are reminded that so many people in the Midlands are one paycheck away from being homeless. Enjoy these photos of the Turkey Team!TopServer-Matt Henderson; Natalie  and  Clarissa-the  Pie  Team;  and  Dean Wilcox  and  a  very  cute  2year  old.
